Replica of a dessert dish belonging to a dinner set from the french manufacture Edouard Homoré, ordered by the Portuguese Queen Maria the 2nd (1819-1853). Specialist in the productions of dinner sets, E. Honoré was successful with his decorations based in naturalistic engravings, such as this martin pêcheur from the “Histoire Naturelle des Oiseaux” by the Count of Buffon (Paris, 1770).
